Romantic Getaways. The Stables Cottage at Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages

Cosy Stays and Scenic Views at Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages

For all the romantics amongst you, It’s almost February, and that can only mean one thing…Valentines Day is just around the corner, and for the Welsh romantics, Dydd Santes Dwynwen is even closer.  On our version of St Valentines Day, us Welsh folk celebrate the life and story of Santes Dwynwen, a tragic 5th Century Princess, who dedicated her life to God, after her own love was forbidden.

Whichever day you choose to celebrate your love story on, there are worse ways to celebrate than a romantic getaway break in the cosy Welsh country cottages at Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages!  Snuggled away in a woodland valley, complete with a stream babbling past, these cottages are a perfect bolt hole to ‘Cwtsh’ up in front of the roaring woodburners with a cheeky glass of wine or a hot chocolate.

The cottages are perfectly located to access the beaches, mountains and towns of this corner of Ceredigion, close to Pembrokeshire and Bluestone Country, as well as the coastal path offering wonderful walks.

The rural retreat at Troedyrhiw is a perfect destination for a couples holiday, to enjoy peace and quiet, whilst only being a stones throw from Cardigan town and the beaches and mountains of this beautiful, unspoilt area.

There are five cottages nestled in the wooded valley at Troedyrhiw, sleeping 23 people in total, with the cosy Coach House accommodating two people, Gorse Cottage sleeping three, and Oak Cottage sleeping four, making them perfect for your romantic break to celebrate Dydd Santes Dwynwen, Valentines Day, a birthday, anniversary, or just each other!

All of our cottages offer comfort and cosiness, with tranquillity and countryside charm, as well as lovely warm woodburners to snuggle up in front of and have a Cwtch.  We even give you the first basket of logs free, so you can get it lit and roaring in no time.

Booking is so easy, just follow the link on our website, and we’ll even give you a discount if you book direct before the end of February!
