Booking Conditions
Rental is from 3:30 pm on the day of arrival until 10:00 am on the day of departure.
There is a strictly no smoking policy in the cottages and communal facilities.
We will accept dogs at an additional charge of £20.00 per animal. Whilst your pets are welcome at Troedyrhiw, they are not permitted to be left in the cottage unattended at any time.
Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages arrange short term holiday rentals of the properties on site. The contract will be entered into when Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages confirms the booking and will be subject to all booking conditions. The guest should check the booking form carefully.
A deposit of 25% of the booking is payable if the booking is made more than 4 weeks before the start of the rental. The balance will be payable 4 weeks before the commencement of the rental. Non payment of the balance of the rental on or before the due date shall be deemed as cancellation of the contract by the guest. Bookings made less than 4 weeks prior to commencement of the rental are subject to the total fee payable at time of booking. Payment can be made by cheque, Paypal or online bank transfer. Any cancellation to be made in writing to Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages. On receipt of cancellation, Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages will seek to re-let the property for the period of the booking. If we are successful in obtaining a booking for the whole period it shall refund all monies paid at the time of cancellation less a £20 administration fee. If only part of the cancelled period is re-let, the refund will be equal to money paid, less the rental amount for the period not re-let, and less the administrative fee as detailed above. If Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages is unable to re-let the property for any period no refund will be due. Further, any outstanding balance due for the booking shall be deemed as payable. Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages recommends that guests should take out Holiday Insurance Cancellation cover as a precaution for unforeseen circumstances.
The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the maximum number as agreed at the time of booking.
The guest is required to notify Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages in the event of any breakages or damage caused to the property or contents. Breakages or damages must be paid for.
Cots, highchairs and stair gates are all available on request at no charge and requirements should be outlined on the booking form.
All bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are supplied, with the exception of swimming/beach towels and cot bedding. A change of bed linen and towels will be provided for guests staying for 8 nights or more, a service clean can be provided for an additional charge of £20.00
Hot water and heating are included in the rental. One basket of logs is provided, additional are available for a small charge.
There is a payphone on site for guest use which will not accept incoming calls. There is a limited mobile phone signal on site, (service is poor in most cottages). All the cottages have wireless broadband Internet access.
