Girtie, Humbug, Treacle, Percy the Kune Kune pigs at Troedyhriw Holiday Cottages West Wales.  The Kune Kune, pronounced Cooney Cooney means 'fat and round' in Maori, a fitting name for a breed which is renowned for its barrel-like proportions. They are also known for their pleasant temperament.

Congratulations to Treacle and Humbug on the arrival of your new families! Two of our Kune Kune pigs here at Troedyrhiw have recently become proud mums to twelve little piglets between them. Both litters were born in the middle of January and are doing well. They will be available to go to their new homes soon. Outstanding five star self catering accommodation for a holiday in West Wales.  The holiday cottages are situated on a 13 acre smallholding near Cardigan in Ceredigion west Wales. The converted slate farm buildings provide luxury self catering accommodation in five cottages sleeping two, four, four, six and eight people.

All the self catering accommodation is furnished to a high standard and have been graded with five and four stars by the Wales Tourist Board. The holiday cottages are located at the end of a road half a mile mile long where there is no through traffic making it ideal for children to play safely.

Situated in Coastal location near Cardigan in West Wales, ideal for a relaxing holiday break! The cottages are near to the sea being located just five miles from the beautiful National Trust beach of Mwnt and the Ceredigion Marine Heritage Coast. Home to an abundance of marine life including bottlenose dolphins, harbour poroise, grey seals and many sea birds and fish.

The holiday cottages are well placed to explore the local area of west Wales, Cardigan Bay, the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and the Pembrokeshire National Park.

The Coach House and The Stables cottages have a large decking area with seating to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. The cottages are surrounded by well kept lawns perfect for barbeques during warm days and the summer months in Wales.There are beautiful views towards the Preseli Mountains in the Pembrokeshire National Park just a short walk from the holiday cottages, which help to provide the inspiration to explore Ceredigion and west Wales!

The accommodation is children friendly with many animals for children to see, including Ben and Blossom the miniature shetland ponies, Gertie, Goldie and Percy the Kune Kune pigs, Emily, Ember, Sienna, and Ellie the pigmy goats, chickens, ducks and, Bluey and Bethan the friendly dogs.

The holiday cottages are ideal large group accommodation sleeping up to 24 people in the five self catering holiday cottages. All the holiday cottages have free wireless broadband Internet access so that you can check emails and access the Web during your stay. For active visitors the cottages are in a good position to explore Ceredigion and west Wales by mountain bike.
